Philosophy
In today's litigious environment, Committees and fiduciaries are
being held to higher standards than ever before. While investment
performance is important, it is not the ultimate measure of whether
ERISA and fiduciary duties are being met. Process is just as important
than results. In order for ERISA Plan Sponsors to meet the "prudent
expert" standard that ERISA, a prudent process for investment selection
and review must be documented. If there is no documented process,
then legally that process does not exist.
Client Advocacy
We are not affiliated with any investment management firm, mutual
fund company, insurance company or record-keeping firm. This independence
allows us to be "revenue neutral" and thus, completely objective
with regard to any advice that we provide. It also allows us to
negotiate directly with our Client's record keeping and fund management
companies to lower costs and/or improve services.
Practical Implementation
We understand that every action we recommend must fit in with our
clients' priorities, employee demographics, human resource capability,
and budget. Our goal is to reduce our clients' workload, while increasing
the utility and employee appreciation of their qualified Plans.
We sort through the data and noise for our clients and deliver to
them the thoughtful and clear analysis that they need to efficiently
meet their fiduciary obligations.
Extensive ERISA Experience
Providing effective Investment Consulting services to the world
of ERISA Plans requires specialized knowledge and extensive experience.
We have that knowledge and experience. We bring to the table a unique
combination of experiences as investment advisors, education specialists,
and record-keepers to ERISA Plans.
