A. W. "Bud" Green has over 17 years of experience in financial
analysis, portfolio management, and retirement plan consulting,
specializing in qualified plans.
In 1985, with an Economics degree from UC Davis, Bud started his
career as a Securities Analyst for GFA Research Inc. As a Consultant
with GFA, Bud created the nation's first rating system for Real
Estate syndication firms.
In 1988, Bud entered the employee benefit and retirement plan business
as a founding partner of Pacific Benefit Consultants. Shortly thereafter,
Bud founded Interactive Capital Management, a SEC Registered Investment
Advisor providing fee based investment advisory services to defined
contribution Retirement Plans.
From 1994 to 2003, Bud was lead Portfolio Manager for TRI-AD Capital
Management, a SEC Registered Investment Advisor, where he was responsible
for the investment supervision and/or direct management of over
125 Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit Plan accounts. Bud
also served as the primary marketing lead for TRI-AD's 401kChoice
open architecture record-keeping services. In the course of that
position, Bud was involved with the creation, implementation, and
management of virtually every component of a daily 401(k) system
including pricing, communication, education, plan design, mutual
fund negotiation, and compliance.
Bud is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) from the Centre
for Fiduciary Studies in association with the Joseph M Katz Graduate
School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh.
Bud lives in Santa Monica, California where he shares a home with
his wife Sandy.
