Tom Nimmo In 1976, with degrees in Finance and Accounting, Tom Nimmo started his career as what was then the youngest Vice President in the history of Union Bank. His last assignment put him in charge of Northern California commercial lending, or as he says, corporate wealth management. Tom's experience in credit risk evaluation has proven to be invaluable in developing his skills in securities analysis and fixed income management. In 1983, Tom left Union Bank to start a career providing custom benefit and retirement plans for companies and individuals. As President of Pacific Benefit Consultants, Tom provided financial planning, insurance, and investment management services for clients throughout Northern California. In 1994, disillusioned by the lack of individualized services provided for clients in need of asset management protection during retirement, Tom started Fortress Wealth Management, Inc. The unique "Yield Based" asset allocation strategy developed and proven by Tom has enabled Fortress to enjoy steady growth since its inception. Tom has been married to Ann since 1976, with one son currently completing his Masters degree in molecular biology. He has lived his adult life in Northern California, loves the Napa Valley, and enjoys an occasional round of golf. |
